A new widget showing recent posts of the “Announcements” category in the forum has been added below the repo/orgs panel in the home dashboard view.
More specifically, all posts with the changelog tag are shown in it, to allow for additional filtering capabilities outside of the category.
This should make it easier to stay up-to-date with changes of the platform without having to opt-in to something specifically or get annoyed by global notification banners.
