CodeFloe now offers a hosted Renovate bot that users can choose to opt into.
This service eliminates the need to create a dedicated bot account within a user or organization to run Renovate on a schedule. Instead, users can opt into a centrally managed Renovate instance that leverages shared dependency and repository caches for improved efficiency.
The service and its associated account are administered by the CodeFloe team, and it follows the same trust and security standards as the main CodeFloe instance.
Alternatively, users can still proceed to run their own renovate instance with the help of CodeFloe’s shared renovate dependency cache.
