The downtime was a little longer than expected (1.5h vs 1h) as we had some issues during the DB upgrade due to some permission issues on the unix socket for pgbouncer. These didn’t show up during the DEV upgrade and it took a bit to track them down, but we got it resolved eventually.
Future updates should be faster again, as the next major DB upgrade will take a while.
It was the first major DB upgrade we did while being “live”, so we’re happy everything went well in the end.
