Motivated by user feedback, we’ve redesigned the landing page on codefloe.com for logged-out users. It now presents the platform in a fresh look and aims to transport all important facts the platform stands for in a concise way.
Based on the default forgejo theme, it comes with the following user-visible changes:
Non-rounded buttons and elements
Use of Inter font
Active tabs gained a highlighted border at the left or bottom of the element
We will likely add additional changes to this theme in the future. You can always switch back to the old forgejo theme or any other one which we have bundled within the platform.
Looks very nice, great job! Fyi, in my Firefox on Android browser clicking the mobile navigation toggle on the landing page also toggles between dark mode and light mode.
There seems to be an issue with the templating for the new Codefloe theme; in the mobile version the commit count is not displayed properly. (Chromium-based browser)
The company behind Codeflue is swiss, which is not “in the EU” (as in European Union).
Is “hosted inthe EU” referring to the physical location of the servers? (it seems to be hosted at Hetzner in Germany)
Why is it significant?
The privacy policy looks nice, but I don’t think it’s GDPR compliant. Is this planned?
Sorry, I forgot to mention that this happens on the Spanish localization of the UI. And Codeberg has the same issue, which leads me to believe that it’s a Forgejo upstream issue.
